Privacy notice

This notice explains how Agate Teknoloji A.Ş. processes personal data when you visit this website or contact us, as required by Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK). The Turkish version of this notice is the binding one.

1. Data controller

2. Scope

This notice covers this website and enquiries sent to us. Our products — Route42, RotaLLM, CueBot and newspipe — have their own privacy terms on their websites, which apply when you use them. Work we do for clients is covered by the contract with that client.

3. Data we process

• Identity and contact data: your name, email address and company, when you email us.
• Customer transaction data: the content of your message and our correspondence with you.
• Transaction security data: when you load a page, our server records standard logs — IP address, browser type, page requested, date and time — to keep the site secure and working.

This website has no forms, no user accounts, and no advertising or analytics cookies. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

4. Purposes and legal grounds

• Replying to your enquiry and preparing an offer — processing directly related to the establishment of a contract (KVKK Art. 5(2)(c)), and our legitimate interest in answering business messages (Art. 5(2)(f)).
• Protecting the website against abuse and attacks — our legitimate interest (Art. 5(2)(f)).
• Meeting legal obligations, such as commercial and tax record-keeping, once we work together (Art. 5(2)(ç)).

5. How we collect it

We collect personal data electronically: from the emails you send us, and automatically through server logs when you visit the website.

6. Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers to run our email and host this website. They process data only for the purposes above and under confidentiality and data processing terms. We may disclose data to authorised public institutions where the law requires it (KVKK Art. 8).

7. Transfers abroad

Fonts on this website are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser sends your IP address to Google’s servers, which may be outside Türkiye, when a page loads. Some of our email and infrastructure providers may also process data abroad. Such transfers are made under the conditions of KVKK Article 9, including standard contracts notified to the Personal Data Protection Authority where required.

8. How long we keep it

• Enquiries that do not lead to a contract: up to 24 months after our last contact.
• Client correspondence, commercial books and records: for the periods required by the Turkish Commercial Code and tax laws, generally 10 years.
• Server logs: up to 30 days, unless needed to investigate a security incident.

When a retention period ends, we delete, destroy or anonymise the data.

9. Your rights

Under KVKK Article 11 you have the right to:

• learn whether your personal data is processed, and request information about it;
• learn the purpose of the processing and whether it is used for that purpose;
• know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom it is transferred;
• ask for incomplete or inaccurate data to be corrected;
• ask for it to be deleted or destroyed under the conditions of KVKK Article 7;
• ask for corrections and deletions to be notified to the third parties it was transferred to;
• object to a result against you that arises only from automated analysis;
• claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.

To use these rights, email [email protected] or write to our address above. We reply free of charge within 30 days at the latest. If your application is rejected or not answered, you can complain to the Personal Data Protection Board at www.kvkk.gov.tr.

10. Security

We protect personal data with appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encrypted connections, access control and limited retention.

11. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice when our services or the law change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
